How do I find and add new contacts in Skype?

1. From the top of your window in Skype, select People, groups, messages.
   
   Note : For mobile users, tap Search .

2. In the Search field, type the name , Skype name , email , or phone number of the person you want to chat with.
   
   Note : For Skype for Android 4.0.4 to 5.1 or Skype Lite users, select Tap to search Skype directory .

3. Select your friend from the search results and you will be taken to a conversation window.

4. Type a message and select Send . They will automatically be added to your contact list, however, you will only be able to send them up to 10 messages and images will be blurred until they accept your request.

Do you want to share your Skype profile with friends from Skype on mobile?

No problem, Skype makes it easy to share your profile QR code that you can send to your mobile contacts using the app of your choice. Select your profile picture , tap the QR code next to your Skype name, tap Share then select how you want to share it with your friends and family.

No problem, Skype makes it easy to invite anyone to chat. Select your profile picture , choose Skype profile , and then select Share profile .

Open the Dialpad, enter the phone number you want to save then select Save phone number . In the New contact window , enter a First and last name , then select Save .
