If a voice message exceeds a single text in length, we will deliver the message as a series of consecutive text messages, limited to a total of three. If you see ‘…’ at the end of a message it means there is more to the original message. Sign in to Skype to listen to the full message.
If you see spaces or question marks in your message, it means that SpinVox could not correctly identify a word (‘_’) or has spelt a word phonetically (‘?’).
Sometimes SpinVox can’t convert a voice message to the minimum standard due to background noise or poor signal quality. If this happens, you’ll be notified about the unconverted message by a text message. We still charge for unconverted messages because we are required to process them. It’s not possible for us to determine in advance whether the message is unconvertible. However, we do filter out recordings that are too short to contain a message.
*Only voice messages in English, French, German and Spanish will be converted to text.
