Skype is always making improvements, such as enhanced quality, better reliability, and improved security. Because we want everyone to experience the best Skype has to offer, it’s sometimes necessary to retire older versions of Skype, and Skype enabled devices. Skype is no longer supported on Blackberry 10 and below, and you will no longer be able to download Skype from the Amazon Appstore. You can still access Skype from a supported platform, or use Skype for web via your internet browser. If you previously downloaded Skype from the Blackberry World application store, it is no longer supported.
Android powered Blackberry devices can now download the Skype app directly from the Google Play store. Learn more about Skype for Android phones, and system requirements.
