I use Skype Connect™ and I’m having DTMF issues. What should I do?
If you use Skype Connect and you are having DTMF (dial pad tone) issues, check the following possible causes:

|Are you using RFC 2833 (out of band) DTMF? ||Ensure your SIP-enabled PBX is configured to use RFC 2833 DTMF and not in-band DTMF. We do not support in-band DTMF. |
|Are you using uncertified equipment? ||Use of uncertified equipment may lead to problems with functions such as DTMF. We recommend that you use a Skype Connect certified PBX or gateway as we cannot ensure all your SIP-enabled PBX features and functions will operate correctly in non-certified SIP-enabled PBXs when used with Skype Connect. |
