How do I change my Skype Number payment method?

When you buy a Skype Number subscription, you can choose whether you want it for 1 month or for a year. On the day your Skype Number subscription expires, it will be automatically renewed for the same period of time as you initially purchased it for (payment is taken 3 days in advance of the renewal date). However, you can cancel your Skype Number subscription at any time.

To change your Skype Number payment method:

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. In the Manage features section, click Skype Number. You’ll see the next payment due date under your Skype Number.
  3. Click Settings

  4. Here you can change your existing payment method.

You can change your payment method as long as the new method supports recurring payments, such as a credit card, PayPal or Skype Credit*. This is not possible in countries where the payment cannot be made from your Skype Credit balance.

When you cancel your subscription and your Skype Number expires, you can reactivate it from your account within 90 days.

*If you attempt to use another method of payment that does not support recurring payments, you will be prompted to choose another payment method at the time of purchase.
