    How do I use Skype voice messaging?

    You can activate voice messaging from your Skype account, for free. 

    1. Sign in to your account.
    2. In the Manage Features section, select Call forwarding.
    3. Select the button Call forwarding disabled to enable call forwarding Call forwarding enabled and then select how many seconds to forward calls after.
    4. Select Voice messaging, then Confirm

    If you buy an unlimited subscription or a Skype Number, voice messaging is activated automatically.

    If someone has recently left you a message, you will see a notification in your recent conversations list.

    Click the contact’s name in the Recent list, then in the conversation window, click the Play button next to the message.

    If you can’t hear the message, try turning up the speaker volume on your computer.

    After you have listened to a voice message, it is stored locally on your computer. This means that you won’t be able to listen to it again if you sign in to Skype on a different device.

    After you’ve listened to a voice message, just click the trash can icon to delete it.

    1. Sign in to your account.
    2. In the Manage Features section, select Call forwarding.
    3. Either select the green button to disable call forwarding, or select Delete next to voice messaging. You can choose to forward your calls to another Skype account or to a mobile or landline number instead.
