Why do I need to activate a free trial to use group video?

To make a group video call, at least one of the people on the call must have Skype Premium (for personal accounts) or a group video subscription (for business accounts). If you’re not sure which type of account you have, it’s easy to find out.

You can try group video for free by starting the free trial. Start your trial today by signing in to Skype and making a group video call. When you do so, click Get group video and follow the instructions to begin your free trial.

Alternatively, you can also start your free trial by signing in to your account. On the Group Video tab, click Start free trial.
