How do I send a file in Skype for Linux?

    To send a file:

    1. Click on the contact you wish to send the file to. You can only send files to contacts that are currently online.
    2. Click the down arrow icon, and then select Send File.
    3. The Choose File(s) to send dialog box will open. Browse to file you wish to send and click Open.
    4. The file will not be sent until the person receiving it authorizes it by clicking Save as in their own chat window to accept the file.

It is possible to send a single file to multiple contacts.
