How do I change my privacy settings using Skype™ on au?

You can change your privacy settings to prevent receiving unwanted calls and instant messages from people you don’t know.

Android

  1. Sign in to Skype.
  2. Tap The Skype logo to go to the main menu.
  3. Press the Menu button.
  4. Select Settings.

Under Receive calls, select from the following options to change your call privacy settings:

  • Anyone
  • Skype contacts only
  • No calls

Under Allow IMs from…, select from the following options to change your instant message privacy settings:

  • Anyone
  • People in my Contact list only

Brew

  1. Sign in to Skype.
  2. In the main menu, select Settings. You will see the main menu when you first sign in. If you have already selected another tab, use the phone’s back button to return to the main menu.

Under Receive calls from:, select from the following options to change your call privacy settings:

  • Contacts
  • Anyone

Under Receive IMs from:, select from the following options to change your instant message privacy settings:

  • Contacts
  • Anyone
