What are purchase limits?

To protect our customers from fraud, we set limits for the purchase of Skype Credit and subscriptions.

If your payment was declined, don't worry: it doesn't mean that your account was compromised or that your payment methods have been flagged for fraud. These are simply protections Skype puts in place to watch out for out-of-the-ordinary purchase activity.

If your payment is declined, your best option is to try again later. Check out our ways to pay.
