How do I add contacts to my Favorites list?

Adding a contact to your Favorites list

To add a contact to your Favorites list:

  1. Sign in to Skype.
  2. Right-click the contact you want to add and select Add to Favorites.
  3. Add to Favorites selected from the list displayed after right-clicking the contact.

    The name of the contact you’ve added with the favorites icon will appear under the Favorites list at the top of your contact list.

Removing a contact from the Favorites list

To remove a contact from the Favorites list:

  1. Sign in to Skype.
  2. Right-click the contact you want to remove and select Remove from Favorites, or simply drag the contact from Favorites and drop it to the Contacts list.
  3. Remove from Favorites selected in the list displayed after right-clicking the contact.

Deleting the Favorites list

It is not possible to delete the Favorites list manually. However, when you remove all the contacts from Favorites, the list will disappear automatically.

If you want to retrieve the Favorites list, just add a contact to your Favorites list again and it will reappear at top of your contact list.
