Skype for Kindle Fire HD and HDX supports the same features as Skype for Android tablets and also improves your video calling experience with smooth 720p HD video.

Skype for Amazon Kindle Fire HD currently uses the classic tablet user interface (UI) while Skype for Amazon Kindle Fire HDX offers an improved modern UI. If you're using Kindle Fire HD, you don’t need to worry as we're planning to bring the modern UI to your device soon as well.

It’s very easy to use Skype for Kindle Fire HD and HDX - you can use it the same way as Skype for Android tablets.
