How do I set my status

In Skype for Windows Phone 8, you can set your status to available if you want to appear as online to your contacts, or invisible to appear as unavailable.

To change your status:
  1. Start Skype.
  2. Tap your profile picture.
  3. Select available or invisible.

How do I edit my mood message?

A mood message lets your contacts know how you’re feeling, what you’re thinking of or what you’re up to. It’s also a great way to share links to websites, videos and music. To set your mood message:

  1. Start Skype.
  2. Tap your profile picture.
  3. Enter your new mood message in the mood message field and tap The tick icon. to save.

How do I edit my profile?

You can’t change your profile information in the Skype application.

To edit your profile, tap view account. Sign in with your Skype Name and password and you’ll be redirected to your account page on skype.com where you can edit your details.

How do I change my profile picture?

To change your profile picture:

  1. Start Skype.
  2. Tap your profile picture in the upper right corner.
  3. Tap your profile picture.
  4. Select a photo from your device or tap the camera icon The camera icon. to take a new picture.
  5. Save the photo.
