What version of Skype am I using on my mobile or tablet?

Some versions of Skype have different interfaces and options. Sometimes, for us to help you with a problem, it’s really useful to know which version of Skype you’re using.

To find out the version of Skype you’re using on your mobile:

Skype for Windows Phone 7

  1. Start Skype.
  2. Tap , then select Settings and swipe to About.

Skype for Windows Phone 8

  1. Start Skype.
  2. Tap your profile image.
  3. Tap , then select Help.

Skype for iPhone or iPod

  1. Start Skype.
  2. Tap My Info > About Skype.

Skype for Android

  1. Start Skype.
  2. In the home screen, press the menu button or tap the menu icon on devices running Android 3.0 and above, then select About.

Skype for Symbian

  1. Start Skype.
  2. Tap Options on the left-bottom corner of the screen, then select About Skype.

To find out the version of Skype you’re using on your tablet:

Skype for iPad

  1. Start Skype.
  2. Tap your profile picture, then select About Skype.

Skype for Sony Tablet P

  1. Start Skype.
  2. Tap the menu icon, then select About.
