Not sure what version of Skype you have? It's easy to find out.
Unlike Skype for other mobile platforms that uses hardware and software buttons, Skype 3.2 for BlackBerry 10 relies on touch gestures for some basic actions such as:
Swipe from the top of the screen to display the options bar with the back button and the menu button at the bottom of the screen.
To display the Skype menu bar and change the app’s settings, simply tap the menu button and the bar will appear at the top of the screen. Then tap Settings.
To navigate to your phone’s Home Screen, where the recent applications are displayed, simply swipe from the bottom of the screen.
If you’d like to close Skype, you need to sign out of the application and tap X in the bottom right corner of its thumbnail.
If the navigation bar is not displayed and you’d like to go back one step in Skype, simply swipe diagonally from the bottom corner to the left or right.
When you’ve mastered these basic gestures, you can check out our Skype for BlackBerry 10 FAQs to learn more about using the Skype application.
