What is Skype Premium?
Skype Premium has been discontinued, and is no longer available for purchase. Group video calling, which was one component of Skype Premium, is now free for everyone with no need for a subscription.
What happens to my existing Skype Premium subscription?
If you already have a Skype Premium subscription, you can continue to use it to cover calls to the same countries you were offered when you bought it – and as long as you keep the payment method in your account up to date, the subscription will continue to renew automatically.
We'll let you know if your payment method is about to expire so you can update it. If your payment does fail for any reason (for example, your credit card expires before you have a chance to update it), we’ll let you know that the recurring payment failed, and give you time to change your payment method and keep your subscription running. If you don’t change your payment details in time, your subscription will expire. You won’t be able to reactivate the Skype Premium subscription, since it’s no longer available – but you can choose from one of the many calling subscriptions available on our subscriptions page.
Can I cancel my Skype Premium subscription?
Yes, you can cancel it at any time. After you cancel, the subscription will remain active until it reaches its expiry date. You can continue to use it – and you can reactivate it in your account – right up until it expires.
After the subscription expires, you won’t be able to reactivate it.

We recommend that you check out our range of subscriptions where you’re sure to find something that suits your calling needs.
