With the latest version of Skype for Mac, you now have more options to manage and change the settings for a group conversation (if you're the administrator, or the one who created the group). To access the new group settings, click the group you want to access in the Recent list, then click the group profile picture at the top of the chat window: This will bring up the group profile information. If you're not sure if you're an admin for the group, this window will tell you. As a group admin, you can choose if you want to let new members of the group see the history of the group chat before they arrived. To allow new group members to see the group chat history, tick the box next to Disclose history. You can also choose to allow people to join your group by putting a tick in the box next to Allow people to join. This will activate a link to the chat, which you can choose to copy by clicking Copy link. You can allow any of your group members to share the link by clicking Anyone can use this link. You can manage notifications for the group by clicking the link under Notification Settings at the bottom of the window.
