I don't know my registered email address
Your registered email address is an important element in the security of your account. We use it to help verify ownership of the account.
Usually your registered email address is the one you used when you first joined Skype. If you’re not sure what it is, we can show you where to find it. If you can’t sign in to your account – and don’t remember or have access to your registered email – we’ll tell you what to do next.
I can sign in to my account
To find your registered email address:
Sign in to your account.
Click your profile picture, or select Edit Profile in the Account details section.
In the Contact details section, all of the email addresses you’ve added to Skype are displayed. Your registered email address is the one marked Primary email.
I can't sign in to my account
Have you forgotten your registered email address? If you've tried entering your email address into the problems signing in page and it didn't work, or if you no longer have access to your registered email address (for example you used a work email and you no longer work there), we may be able to help you. You’ll need to be able to verify other information in your account, such as the credit card you used to buy Skype Credit.
- Go to this support request page.
Choose the topic (Account & Password) and related problem (Password/Skype Name issues), then click Next.
- Choose a contact method.
Select Email support, enter your details, describe the problem you’re having, then click Send. Our agents will review the information you provide and determine if the account can be verified.
