Help Skype for Web

What happens when someone calls me while I'm on a call in Skype for Web?

When someone calls and you’re already on a call, the incoming call window opens on your screen. You can choose to Answer, Answer with video or Decline the call. If you decide to answer the incoming call, the call you're already on will be put on hold. To take the call off hold, click Resume call in the call toolbar.

If you want to, you can add the incoming call to the call you're already on.

To set up call forwarding:

  1. In the menu bar, click Tools > Options....
  2. Under Calls, click Call forwarding.

    The Call forwarding option selected.
  3. Click Call forwarding options.
  4. Tick the box next to the Forward my calls to.

The Add more phone numbers link and the option for setting the amount of time for answering incoming calls selected.

You can add several phone numbers that you want the incoming calls to be forwarded to, simply click Add more phone numbers. If you’ve added more phone numbers, you need to select the phone number you want your calls to be forwarded to from the drop-down list.

You can also set how long it will take for the incoming call to be forwarded if you don’t answer it.

If you have Voice messages activated, you can choose when to send calls to voicemail. You can send calls to voicemail if:

  • you do not answer within a certain amount of time
  • you reject the call
  • you are already on a call

To set up Voice Messaging, in the menu bar, click Tools > Options and under Calls, click Voice messages.
