    Q: I want to try the new experience.  How do I sign up for the Skype for Windows 10 preview Insiders program?
    A: Anyone on Windows 10 can sign up for the Skype for Windows 10 Insiders program. You can sign up to try the preview builds of Skype for Windows 10 at the Skype Insider page.

    Q: How do I know if I have the latest version?
    A: Check your version number. In Skype, select your profile picture, select Settings, then select Help & Feedback. The latest version of Skype for Windows 10 is application version 15.x. If you are on application version 14.x or below, then you have not been upgraded to the latest version yet.

    Q: How do I leave my feedback about the new Insiders build?
    A: Your comments and feedback are crucial for us to improve the Skype for Windows 10 experience before we open it up to a wider audience.  Please leave your feedback by selecting the Report a problem option in our menu or by leaving feedback within the Feedback Hub application.

    Q: I’ve signed up for the Skype for Windows 10 Insiders preview program.  How do I get the updated builds now?
    A: Your build will be updated through the Store like any other Store update.  It may take up to 24 hours after you sign-up before you receive the update.

    Q: When I update to the latest Skype for Windows 10 Insiders build, will my history, contacts or credits be impacted?
    A: If you were using Skype for Windows 10 (version 14), your contacts, history and credits will not be impacted when you update to the latest Insiders release. The update behaves like any other Store update. All your account information will be preserved.

    If you were using another version of Skype before you updated to the latest Insiders release, your history from the last year will be displayed in the updated client. History older than a year is not backed up in the cloud.
