    • Why can't I find the new Skype app in the Google Play Store?
The new Skype is not yet available on Android tablets and we've seen reports that this can sometimes cause phones not to find the new Skype in the Google Play Store. If the new Skype isn't available to install from the Google Play Store, follow these steps to reset your resolution and pixel density to their default settings:

      1. From your device settings, tap Display, and then tap Screen resolution
      2. Reduce your screen resolution to FHD 1920x1080.
      3. Next, from your device settings, tap Apps, tap Google Play Store, and then tap Storage
      4. Tap the Clear Data Button, and then tap the Clear Cache button
      5. Open the Google Play Store, and search for the Skype app.
      6. The new Skype should now be available to install.

Note: The new Skype is not available to install on Android tablets. Changing your resolution and pixel density on an Android tablet will not allow you to find or install the new Skype from the Google Play Store on a tablet.
