    What can I do in a group chat profile in Skype on mobile?

    Follow the steps below that match your version of Skype. 

    iOS and Android (6.0+)

    If you have...

    • An Edit Edit iconbutton next to photos and the group name
     

    Android 4.0.3 - 5.1

    If you have...

    • Group Profile across the top
    Group profile options iOS and Android 6.0 and above   Group profile options Android 4.0 - 5.0
    1. From the Chats tab, tap and hold on the group you want to manage. 
    2. Tap Manage group.
    3. From the group profile you can:
    • Add or update a group picture: Tap the group picture to upload a photo, view your current photo, take a new photo or remove the photo altogether. 
    • Choose a new color for your group: Tap the Edit Edit icon button next to your group picture to select a new color. It may take a little time before your color updates.
    • Change your group name: Tap the Edit Edit icon button next to your group name to type a new one. 
    • Share link to join group: Tap group to share an invitation link to your group chat outside of Skype. 
    • Send a message: Tap Send message to send a message to this group.
    • Start a call: Tap Start call to start an audio call with this group. 
    • Start a video call: Tap Start video call to start a video call with this group.
    • Add People: Tap Add people to include additional participants in your group conversation.
    • View current Participants
     
    1. From the Chats screen, tap the group you want to manage.
    2. Tap the group chat header at the top of the screen.
    3. From the group profile you can:
    • Add or update a group picture: Tap the group picture to upload a photo, view your current photo, take a new photo or remove the photo altogether.
    • Change your group name: Tap on the group name to type a new one. 
    • Add People: Tap Add people to include additional participants in your group conversation.
    • View current Participants.
