    How do I change my presence status in Skype on mobile or tablet?

    Android (6.0+), Android tablet, iPhone and iPad

    1. From Chats, tap your profile picture.
    2. Tap to change your presence status to: 
      • Active - Let your contacts know you're available and ready to chat. 
      • Do Not Disturb - Let your contacts know you don't want to be disturbed. They can still send you an instant message or call but you won't be alerted. To receive notifications when your presence is set to Do Not Disturb, scroll down to Notifications, and then to Do Not Disturb to toggle Show chat notifications on or off. 
      • Invisible - Hides your presence indicator from others but they will see the last time you were set to Active or Do Not Disturb.
     

    Android 4.0.4 - 5.1

    1. From Chats, tap the Menu menu button button, then tap My profile.
    2. Tap to change your presence status to: 
      • Active - Let your contacts know you're available and ready to chat. 
      • Do Not Disturb - Let your contacts know you don't want to be disturbed. They can still send you an instant message or call but you won't be alerted. To receive notifications when your presence is set to Do Not Disturb, scroll down to Notifications, and then to Do Not Disturb to toggle Show chat notifications on or off.
