Alternatively, you can make a call from any one-to-one, or group chat by selecting the audio or video call button.
If you're signed in to Skype, you can receive calls. You'll see an incoming call notification screen, select the call button to answer the call as an audio call, or select the video button to answer with video. If you don't want to answer it, select the end call button to decline. If you're offline and you have Voice Messaging activated, the caller will be able to leave a message, or you can set up call forwarding to another number.
You'll need a little Skype Credit or a subscription to call someone on their mobile or landline. If you've already saved the person's contact information, select the calls button, and then select the call button next to their name in your contact list. If the person has more than one phone number saved, you can select the number you want to call from a drop-down list. Alternatively, you can use the dial pad button to enter a phone number. To call an international number, select the country/region from the drop-down menu.
During a call, the call controls are hidden, simply select your screen to make them visible.
