Who can see my profile information in Skype on desktop?

You control who can see the information in your Skype profile. Some information is visible to everyone, but you can leave it blank if you don't want it shown in your profile.

• Everyone can see: Your Skype Name, location, and profile picture if you've added one.
  • Note: You can change your profile picture to be visible to contacts only. From your profile, select Settings > Account & Profile > Profile picture > Select Public or Contacts only.
• Contacts and people you've chatted with can see: Your phone number, and birthday if you've included them in your Skype profile. 

Your email address is never displayed. No one can see it when looking at your profile. It is encrypted and stored in our directory only so that friends who already know your email address can use it to search for you.
