Which webcams and headsets will work with Skype?

Most PC or Mac-compatible webcams will work with Skype, although you may have some problems with older models. Make sure you download and install the most recent drivers for your webcam (you can get these from the webcam manufacturer’s website).

Headsets

Most PC or Mac-compatible headsets will work with Skype, but make sure you are using a computer headset, not a telephone headset. Most headsets connect via USB, although some older versions may have two separate connectors - one for the microphone and one for the speaker.

Ensure that the headset has a built-in microphone so that you can make calls with the best possible sound quality.
