When you first registered with Skype, we asked you to provide us with an email address that was automatically set as your registered email address. We use your registered email address to contact you with important information about your Skype account.
If you use a Microsoft account to sign into Skype, you will need to follow the instructions on this page to set up an alias, then change that alias to be your registered email address.
To add another email address to your Skype profile:
You can add up to three more email addresses or edit those you have already registered.
Note that you will only see your registered email listed in your profile at Skype.com, and not in your Skype client. If you change your registered email, your original registered email will show as an additional email address in your Skype client; your new registered email will be visible in your profile at Skype.com.
You can add up to three more profile email addresses or edit those you have already registered.
You can also remove the email addresses you no longer need. To remove an email address from your profile, tap Edit to the right of the Contact details, and then click in the box with the address. Delete the address and click the green Save button at the bottom right of the page.
Be aware that you can’t delete your registered email address, as there always needs to be one in your Skype profile. However, there are two easy ways to change your registered email address. You can simply edit the one you’ve already registered, or you can choose one of your profile email addresses to be your registered email address if you want.
