How can I make sure that Skype is no longer running on Windows?

    To make sure that Skype is no longer running, check that all Skype processes have been closed:

    1. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE.
    2. Click Task Manager.
    3. Click Skype then click End Task.
    4. Click Yes to end the process.
    5. If you do not see Skype immediately, click More details. In the Processes tab, click on any entry beginning with the word "Skype" and click End Task.
