Who can see my Skype profile and presence status?

    Back to search results

You control who can see your Skype profile information and presence status. Some information is visible to everyone, but you can leave it blank if you don't want it shown in your profile. Skype does not display your email address. No one can see it when looking at your profile. Only friends who already know your email address can use it to search for you.

    What can everyone see?

    • Your Skype Name
    • Your Skype Display Name
    • Your City, State and Country
    • Your Profile picture, if you've added one. However, you can change who can see it in Settings.

    What can my contacts see?

    • Your presence status
    • Phone number (if you've included it in your Skype profile)
    • Birthday (if you've included it in your Skype profile)
