Share to Skype from your device

Follow these steps to share from Windows.

1. Open File Explorer.
2. Right-click the picture or file you'd like to share.
3. Select Share with Skype.
4. Use the Search field or scroll through your contacts until you find the one you want.
5. Select Send next to the contact you want to share. 
    

Once completed, the photo or file is shared to Skype. You can choose more contacts with whom to share or close the Share with window.

Follow these steps to set up sharing and share from your Mac.

1. Open the Finder.
2. Find and Control-click the picture or file you'd like to share.
3. Select Open With, then select Skype.
4. Use the Search field or scroll through your contacts until you find the one you want.
5. Select Send next to the contact you want to share.

Once completed, the photo or file is shared to Skype. You can choose more contacts with whom to share or close the Share with window.

Follow these steps to share from Linux.

1. Find and right-click the picture or file you'd like to share.
2. Select Share with Skype.
3. Use the Search field or scroll through your contacts until you find the one you want.
4. Select Send next to the contact you want to share. 
    

Once completed, the photo or file is shared to Skype. You can choose more contacts with whom to share or close the Share with window.

Follow these steps to enable sharing within iOS for Skype.

1. Open Photos or Safari.
2. Tap on the picture or go to the website you'd like to share.
3. Tap the Share button .
4. If you don't have Skype in the sharing options:
   • Swipe left, then tap More.
   • Tap Edit to add Skype to Favorites.
   • You can also move Skype up and down the list, so it appears as the first option when you want to share a photo or website. Just tap and hold the move button to the right and drag Skype to where you want it.
   • Tap Done at the top of the screen.
5. Tap Skype to start sharing your website or photo. 
6. Select your Skype contact and tap Send. 
    

Once completed, the photo or website is shared to Skype, and you'll be taken back to where you were.

Follow these steps to share from your Android phone or tablet.

1. Open your photo gallery or your browser.
2. Tap on the picture or go to the website you'd like to share.
3. Tap the Share button .
   • Depending on which browser you are using, you may need to tap the More button  to see the Share button in your browser.
4. Tap Skype in the list of sharing options.
   • If you've shared via Skype before, you can also select from contacts with whom you've frequently shared at the top of the sharing options to immediately share with that contact.
5. Choose a contact to whom you want to share. Enter a message, if desired.
6. Tap Send.

Once completed, the photo or website is shared to Skype, and you'll be taken back to where you were.
