How do I change or remove my phone number in Skype?

1. Sign in to your Skype profile page.
   
   Note: You can also access your Skype profile from within the Skype app. Select your profile picture, select Settings, then in Account & Profile, select Verify under your phone number.
2. Go to your Contact details:
   • on desktop - Scroll down to Contact details.
   • on mobile - Tap the Contact details tab.
3. Select Edit Profile and go to the phone number field.
4. Change the number to your new number, then select Save.
5. Select Verify phone number to verify your added number. You will receive a notification at that number to verify it.
   
   Note: If you do not verify your phone number, you might be removed from Skype search results. Learn more about phone and email address verification.

1. Go to Manage how you sign in to Microsoft and sign in.
2. Under Account alias, you'll find your email and phone number listed. 
3. Select Remove next to your phone number. 
   
   Note: If your phone number is your primary alias, you'll need to take some additional steps to remove it. Learn more about how to Change the email address or phone number for your Microsoft account.
4. To add a different phone number, select Add phone number and follow the prompts.

As we continue to refine the Skype profile experience, we will sometimes remove extraneous fields. With the latest update, we have removed the Home and Office phone number options to consolidate and simplify the Skype profile experience. If you already have a Home or Office number in Skype, they will be inactivated in your profile; they will not be updatable, but you can remove them. In future updates, you may not be searchable in Skype by those phone numbers.
