How do I update my credit card or other payment method in Skype?

    1. Sign into your Skype My Account page.
    2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and, under Account details (Billing and Payments), select Payment methods. Note: If you are on an iPhone or iPad and don't have the Payment methods option, you may need to clear the history and cookies on your device and sign in again.
    3. From Payments methods:
      • To add a new payment method: Select the plus button, enter your new payment information, check the box to agree to the Skype Terms of Use Privacy Policy, then select Continue.
      • To delete a payment method: Select Delete next to the payment method you want to remove, and then select Delete on the confirmation page.​

    You can delete a credit card if you have used it to buy Skype Credit, but you can’t delete a card that is being used for recurring payments (a subscription or Auto-recharge). You must cancel the recurring payment

    You can't delete PayPal as your payment method.

    To change the payment method for your calling subscription:

    1. Under your profile picture, select the subscription you want to change the payment method for.
    2. Select Change payment method.  

    To change the payment method for your Skype Number subscription:

    1. In the Manage features section, select Skype Number subscription.
    2. Under your Skype Number, select Settings.
    3. Select Change payment method.
    4. Choose a different payment method and select Update (or Save). If you don't have another payment method stored, you can add a new payment method.

    If your new credit card information is already updated in your Skype account, it’s because your card provider notified us of a change to your payment method.

    Skype is enrolled in the Visa Account Updater ®, and MasterCard Automatic Billing Updater ® programs. These programs prevent the interruption of your auto-renewing subscriptions if your credit card is lost or expires.
