What is the Skype extension?

Get the Skype extension for Chrome.

1. Select the Skype Extension to create or join a meeting. If you’re already signed in to your Skype account on your browser, the extension will automatically use your Skype account. If not, you will be creating the meeting as a guest with no requirement to sign in.
2. You'll have the option to customize your meeting name and avatar before creating the meeting.
   
   
   
   You can choose a meeting name from a list of suggestions or make it something all your own. For your avatar, you can choose from the available emoticons or upload a photo.
   
   
3. Select the Create a free video call button to create the meeting.
4. The created meeting link will be displayed for you to copy or share in email before jumping into the call. 
5. Select the Start call button to start the video call in Skype for Web.

1. To join a video call, select Join with link.

3. Insert the Skype join link in the text box and select the Join button to jump into the call.
