What is Skype Auto-recharge and how does it work?

Auto-recharge adds Skype Credit to your Skype, or Skype Manager balance when it falls below a certain amount.

To turn Auto-recharge on or off:

Skype from the web

Use this link from any platform or device to directly access your Auto-recharge settings, you may be asked to sign in. Select Buy Skype Credit , choose the amount of credit you want to add, then check Enable Auto-recharge when I'm running low on credit . Select Continue and enter your payment information.
Note : In Skype (version 8) on Windows, Mac, Linux and Android, you can enable or disable Auto-recharge from Profile > Skype to Phone > Toggle On or Off .

Skype Manager

Use this link to sign in from any platform or device. Select Buy Skype Credit , choose the amount of credit you want to add, then check Save time in the future with Auto-recharge . Select Continue and enter your payment information.


Auto-recharge is available with PayPal, Skrill (Moneybookers), or credit card payments.
