    How do I associate Skype accounts with a SIP Profile for inbound calling?

    Associating a Skype account with a SIP Profile lets you direct calls to that business account to the SIP Profile and therefore to its associated PBX. You can then place Skype buttons using the Skype Name of that Skype account on your website and in your application, so that customers with Skype can call you for free. If the Skype account has any Skype Numbers assigned to it, calls to those numbers will also be received in your PBX.

    While a Skype account is associated with a SIP Profile, it cannot be used to sign in to Skype and a Skype account can only be associated with one SIP Profile.

    To associate a Skype account with a SIP Profile:

    1. Sign in to Skype Manager™ with the Skype account that you want to forward calls from.
    2. Click Features in the toolbar.
    3. In the Features menu on the left, click Skype Connect™.
    4. Scroll to the SIP Profile for which you want to set up inbound calling and click View profile.
    5. Click Add a number or Skype account.
    6. Select the Add Skype account tab.

    7. Calls to Skype accounts can be forwarded to an extension number. If required, enter the extension number to which you want calls forwarded in the Extension number field.
    8. Click Confirm.

    To remove a Skype account associated with a SIP Profile:

    1. Display the SIP Profile which is using the Skype account that you want to remove.
    2. Click the name of the Skype account that you want to remove.
    3. Click Remove account.
