The In-App Purchase (IAP) payment method can only be used on Apple iOS devices that have Skype installed. It lets you buy one-time Skype Credit, which you can use to call mobiles and landlines from Skype at great rates. You can also use credit to buy other products from Skype, such as Skype Numbers and subscriptions.
Not all iTunes store currencies are supported, but we’re getting there as quickly as we can.
If your Skype and iTunes store currency do not match, your purchase will be converted and delivered to your Skype account in your Skype currency.
To buy Skype Credit in Skype for iOS:
- Tap the My info tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Skype Credit.
- Tap Add credit on the right and follow the instructions to complete your purchase.
You can also buy Skype Credit from your Skype account using your iPad's or iPhone's internet browser, in the same way that you would from your computer. Simply sign in to your account, click Buy Credit/Buy More Credit and follow the instructions to complete your purchase.
