    How do I view someones profile in the new Skype on desktop?

    1. Find the person's profile you want to view in your recent chats or use Search Skype.
    2. Right-click their name, and then select View profile. Alternatively, from within a chat, tap the chat header to view their profile.

    • Edit their name: Select the edit  edit icon button, enter a new name, and confirm your changes. When you edit someone's name, it only changes how their name appears to you. 
    • Send a message: Select Send message.
    • Start an audio call: Select Start call to start an audio call with this person. 
    • Start a video call: Select Start video call to start a video call with this person. 
    • Send money: Select  Send money to send and receive money with your friends and family. Send Money is only available to customers in supported countries, learn more
    • Create a new group: Select  Create a new group, select the people you want to add to the group from the list, or use Search, and then select  the Done button. 
    • Translate: Select Start translator to translate conversations.
    • Add them to favorites: Select Add to favorites to add them to your Favorites list in your Contacts. 
    • Add or Delete contact: Select to add or delete this person from your Skype contacts. 
    • Chat gallery:  Select Chat Gallery to view all of the images that have been shared to this chat. 
    • Notifications: Select Notifications to turn notifications on or off for this chat. 
    • Pin chat: Pin this chat to the top of your chats. 
    • Delete chat: Select Delete chat to delete your entire conversation.
    • Block them: Select Block contact to Block or unblock. Learn more about blocking and reporting someone in Skype.
