How do I contact Microsoft Teams users from Skype?

In Skype, you can use easily reach out to your colleagues, business partners, or customers who are using Microsoft Teams.

To connect with a Microsoft Teams user in a one-to-one chat or call:

1. Open the Skype app.
2. Select  People, groups, messages and enter their business email to search for them.
3. Select your contact result from People and then send them a message.
   
   Note: Only certain chat and call functionality will be available.
4. After they have accepted your request, they will appear in your contact list.

Note: If your account for Skype was set up using your phone number and your Microsoft Teams contact tries to search for you, they may not be able to find you. However, you can search for them and send the initial message to get connected.
